Melissa Hoban is a Counselor in Residence actively working toward her Licensure in Clinical Social Work (LCSW). She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She provides both in-person and online counseling for children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors.
In sessions, Melissa loves to incorporate core techniques from Christian counseling, attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic theory to foster healing, and to help clients navigate childhood trauma, ADHD, anxiety, substance use, pre-marital and marital counseling, and depression.
Melissa serves as a thoughtful partner in the therapeutic process, guiding clients to uncover their strengths, clarify their goals, and make meaningful, lasting changes that enhance their overall well-being.

Taylor has a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She provides online, individual counseling for adolescents, young adults, and new mothers. She is passionate about helping walk new mothers through the postpartum season.
In sessions, Taylor utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to help her clients navigate difficulties like depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, and other various life stresses.
She helps her clients manage emotions, overcome obstacles, and build resilience. With understanding and compassion, Taylor is committed to walking alongside her clients of all ages to support their journey toward growth and healing.

Brenda Gardner is a Licensed Professional Counselor, with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She provides online, Christian counseling for young adults and adults, with a unique blend of psychology and theology. She is passionate about helping individuals increase their spiritual awareness and navigate health self-care.
In sessions, Brenda uses cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and assertiveness training in her work with individuals struggling with severe trauma, abuse, severe anxiety, grief and loss, depression, and other mental health concerns.
By helping her clients explore the challenges they face, she loves to help uncover behavior patterns and negative perceptions, while providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals from all cultures and backgrounds.

Sarah is an LCSW with more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field; she earned her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Sarah currently provides online therapy services in the evenings to support accessibility and flexibility.
She has a passion especially for helping children develop emotional regulation, learn to identify and express emotions, and heal from trauma.
Sarah provides therpay for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. The primary methods she utilizes in session include cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and family systems theory, within a trauma-informed framework. She enjoys walking with individuals through women’s issues, grief and loss, chronic illness, anxiety, and family system dysfunction.
